Apostle Paul J. Porterfield is a transformational leader, apostolic voice, and community architect who blends spiritual authority with strategic impact. As the founder and Senior Pastor of Love Nation Church in Pensacola, Florida, he has pioneered ministries that heal, empower, and restore, from the pulpit to the public square.

Born in Philadelphia and called to the nations, Apostle Porterfield carries a generational mandate. He has established multiple churches, authored insightful books (Protocol to Prayer and When a Black Man Cries), and built businesses with his wife, Angela, to model faith-driven entrepreneurship. Together, they parent a thriving legacy of five sons and seven daughters.

His ministry is defined by structure, vision, and movement. He leads with a builder’s blueprint—designing initiatives like:

Project Manhood is an innovative mentorship and skills-development initiative designed to support young men aged 8 to 18 in the underserved Pensacola and Cantonment communities. Through leadership training, personal development workshops, and career preparation programs, Project Manhood aims to foster responsibility, resilience, and positive masculinity. By investing in young men, this initiative seeks to empower participants to become community leaders and role models, ultimately reducing societal challenges such as unemployment, violence, and lack of educational attainment. "Project Manhood" is innovative because it takes a holistic and proactive approach to addressing the developmental needs of young men in underserved communities, focusing on both personal growth and societal impact.
