Program Summary

The Daughters of Divine Destiny is a multi-tiered empowerment program serving young women and adult women ages 13–40. The expanded program provides:

• Spiritual development

• Emotional and mental health support

• Life-skills training

• Career and leadership development

• Mentorship

• Emergency housing assistance and resource navigation

 

DDD exists to help women heal from trauma, discover their divine identity, build stability, and walk in purpose.

Statement of Need

Women ages 13–40 in our region face significant challenges:

 

Spiritual & Emotional

• Rising anxiety, depression, and identity-related struggles

• Trauma from abuse, domestic violence, or fatherlessness

• Limited access to spiritually grounded mentorship

 

Economic & Social

• Housing instability and homelessness among young women

• Lack of emergency housing resources for women fleeing unsafe environments

• Financial insecurity, limited job readiness, and career barriers

• Single mothers needing support and skill-building

 

Mental Health

• Nearly 1 in 3 women report unmet mental health needs

• Limited access to culturally competent, faith-aligned mental wellness programs

 

Safety & Housing

• Domestic violence shelters are often at full capacity

• Young women aging out of foster care face high risk of homelessness

• Women 26–40, especially single mothers, need transitional support

 

Daughters of Divine Destiny fills a critical gap by offering a holistic, faith-driven, trauma-informed support system that addresses both spiritual and practical needs.
