EmpowerHer: Raising a Generation of Strong, Confident, Purpose-Driven Young Women

 

Age Range:

Girls 5–15 years old

 

Program Purpose:

To equip young girls with the identity, character, emotional healing, and leadership tools needed to grow into strong women who understand their worth, walk in purity and purpose, and are empowered to lead, create, and thrive.

  • Leadership & Confidence

  • Entrepreneurship & Life Skills

  • Healing from Trauma & Abuse

  • Spiritual Formation & Biblical Womanhood (if faith-based delivery is desired)

 

2. PROGRAM GOALS

EmpowerHer aims to:

  • Build healthy identity and confidence in young girls.

  • Teach emotional regulation and provide tools for healing.

  • Develop leadership skills rooted in courage, communication, and service.

  • Instill purity, boundaries, and self-respect.

  • Introduce entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and creativity.

  • Create a safe, nurturing environment for girls to learn and grow.

  • Reduce risk factors associated with abuse, bullying, and low self-esteem.

 

3. PROGRAM STRUCTURE

 

Format Options:

  • Weekly sessions (60–90 minutes)

  • After-school program (2–3 days a week)

  • Monthly workshops + quarterly empowerment events

  • Summer intensive (4–6 weeks)

 

Groupings:

To address developmental differences:

  • Mini Queens (ages 5–8)

  • Rising Royals (ages 9–12)

  • Young Leaders (ages 13–15)

Each group receives age-appropriate lessons, activities, and mentors.

A. IDENTITY & SELF-WORTH

  • Who am I? Understanding value and purpose

  • Confidence building

  • Body positivity and self-esteem

  • Overcoming comparison and bullying

  • The power of words and self-talk

 

B. PURITY & CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

  • Understanding boundaries

  • Modesty, dignity, and respect for self

  • Peer pressure resistance

  • Social media safety

  • Healthy friendships & relationships

 

C. LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

  • Communication and public speaking

  • Teamwork, responsibility, and discipline

  • Seeing oneself as a leader

  • Service, kindness, and community engagement

  • Goal setting and vision boarding

 

D. ENTREPRENEURSHIP & FINANCIAL LITERACY

  • What is entrepreneurship?

  • Creativity and problem-solving

  • Creating simple business ideas (lip gloss, jewelry, snacks, crafts, etc.)

  • Money management, saving, tithing/giving

  • Basic budgeting

  • Hosting a Girls’ Market Day to sell their products

 

E. HEALING FROM TRAUMA & ABUSE

This section is handled gently and age-appropriately.

  • Recognizing safe and unsafe touch

  • Understanding emotions

  • How to ask for help

  • Building trust with mentors

  • Art therapy & journaling

  • Group conversations led by licensed counselors

  • Restoring joy, confidence, and hope
